HUMMANITIES GRADE

I did a lot for the modle part of the project. First I had reasearched a bunch of stuff about a castle and then I took some archetectual characteristics from that castle and I started making pictures of what our modle would look like when it was complete. After that I made some templates to cut out for the walls of the castle. I also financed the construction of the castle for building materials, tools and so on. I worked on the castle over the weekend and in any spare time I had. In the end the castle did not come out looking right but at least I actully had a modle to put in with the fish unlike everyone else who didnt really work as hard as they could on making the best finnal product. At times that I could had been hanging out with my friends on the weekend I was in my garage working on a tiney castle that my partner didnt even help me with. I beleive that I desearve an A+ but the finnal desicion is up to someone who wasnt watching me work as hard as I could through out this learning prosses. You.

LIFE SCIENCE GRADE

I have everything for my fish to live in my aquarium so I would give my self a pretty good grade. I had bought all of the right things for my fish such as sand that the eels need, a heter that both of my fish need, and the best kind of foods for each animal. I tried to make the habitat fun for the fish by putting some sand, shells and some plants in the aquarium and they seem to like it. Although the environment outside the aquarium is a bit frightning for the fish. Also i bought everything for the project. For this part of the project i'd give my self an A.

MAY- 14-2007

Today I had started making my interpretive panel for Medieval European religon on photoshop and i had gotten a great start on it. I had also really figired out what I am going to be making to make the panel look cool. I am going to attach a bucket with dry ice inside under my panel and I am going to make holes in the panel boared and a cold fog will come out to give it a medieval feel. I should be getting finished with my panel with in the next couple of days if I work at the pace I am working.

On Monday I had started a new power point for the lesson at my house and I had also found a bit more information about medievil Europe. It was really hard because I had stayed up really late at night to get most of it done and I was really tired. I also talkede with my dad about some ideas for my lesson and how to make it better. I had decided no crosswords.

MAY,2-4,2007

On Wednessday through Friday Jose and I reasearched our medievil civilization for the lesson. I did not get that much done because of the time we had becuase of testing but I did manage to get a couple pages of notes and some more ideas of what we were going to be doing in our lesson. At night I would go finding even more notes because I relized that time for this assighnment was running out. On Friday I found that we needed a visual aid, activity, and an assesment and since we were presenting the next week I thought it would be a good idea if I did something over the weekend for it so thats what we planned.

Hello mates today Jose and I got a lot finished on the lesson by reasearching the crusades of midievil Europe. I had written one page of awsome notes that say all of the important facts about the midievil crusades and just what was happening back then with religon. We also met with Mr.Davis about where to put the fish tanks and Jose and I have no idea where we are going to put ours because a lot of the other groups have taken a lot of the spots. But it shouldnt be that big of a deal to find a place in the entire classroom. We also dont know when we are going to put together our model or when we are going to get our animal so we need to figure that out pretty soon. Things have been going great and were getting everything done even though I've been doing a lot of the work.

APRIL,30,2007

Today the fish department had some issues when someone was accused of accedentally kicking another group members mouse while in a ball thing. That whole incadent took up some of our work time but I still got things done. Jose and I went over the castle building plans that I had made and made sure we were both clear about how we were going to make the castle so we figured out that deal and then we went on to discussing the lesson and what we still needed to do for it. We gave eachother some homework like reasearching the topic or making an outline of the lesson. After discussing that stuff I went to work on reasearching the religon of midievil Europe. Jose and I have been working pretty well together getting all of our stuff done.

APRIL,28,2007

I did a little extra work on the project over the weekend on Saturday because during our project time I've mainly been focusing on the reasearch for the lesson and not the actual castle it self. And since we're making the castle out of a cutting board I wanted to make sure that we know what we were going to be cutting. So on Saturday I spent about four hours drawing out some templates of what i was going to cut out. I had also gotten some cutting boards that we are going to use for the walls of the castle. And Jose is getting some pvc pipe for the towers.

APRIL,27,2007

Today was a good working day for me because I had gotten a lot accomplished while reasearching midievil southern european religon. I had only gotten about a page of notes down but I think I did get a better understanding of religon in midievil southern Europe. This morrning I had also brought a fish tank in that is the perfect size for what we want to do. Plus it only cost ten dollars! We also decided what we were going to make our castle out of and how we are going to add a special effect to it to make it look even cooler. First we're going to make the castle out of plastic cutting boared and I will cutt the board with a skill saw this weekend to the right shapes. The towers of the castle are going to be made of white pvc pipe. And to make our white castle look super fly we're going to have a black light above it to make it glow a bright, gleaming, floresent color that the fish will love by the way. Speaking of fish Jose and I decided that guppies would be a borring fish so we changed our fish an eal because they look awsome!!!!!!

APRIL/26/O7

What I did on wednesday was the crocadile HUNTER skit and I was the crocadile hunter! But before the skit we really had to figure out what we were going to do and how we were going to put everyones information in it. I thought of the idea of having someone pull fish out of the water and having the fish talk about the information, and the group seemed to like it so we did it. Also I had the best crocadile hunter accent so they decicided that I be the crock hunter. While doing the skit I tried to make it so the class was really watching and undrestanding what we were even doing up there. So I had repeated some of the main information that the class needed to know so that they would remember it. I think our skit came great and I think that I let out all of the information that needed to be said about fish.

APRIL,25,2007

On tuesday my group and I had some problems on deciding what to do for the skit. So we decided to break into two smaller groups temorarly and one of the groups would cover half of the material in one skit and the other group would cover the other stuff in theirs. In my smaller group we decided to divide the information up and we would each talk about some certain facts. Yesterday we figured out what we were going to do for the skit and how we could put the most information in it. In our smaller group everyone is getting along great together but in the bigger group I think that we still have a few things to work out. So far the entire project has all been really fun and I feel that I am learning a lot about fish and the ocean.Everyone in the Department has been working really hard and studying as much as they can about fish. For this assighnment I beleive that I am taking charge and sort of acting like a project manager because no one else has really stepped up in taking control.

What ive done so far in the zoomanities project this week.

so far this week iv really explored what my animal is and what it does. like when i was making the feild notes on boney fish i found out so much about my type of animal that i didnt know before. i found so much information on fish that instead of making one page of notes i made about two pages. then the next day i found out that we needed to condense our infor mation to a couple peices and i did that with minimal difficulty but it wasnt over we then had to condense that information to about two main peices of stuff so i did and i beleive i had taken out the correct stuff.
